Israeli bombings in Baalbeck threaten the world's largest remaining Roman temples - L'Orient Today

The Baalbeck temple complex is home to the Temple of Jupiter and the Temple of Bacchus, legendary in their size and preservation. On Sunday, the Israeli army bombed less than a kilometer away from the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
