The Israeli occupation forces have relentlessly continued their aggressive campaign against Lebanon for the 11th consecutive day, launching a series of intensive raids on the southern suburbs and the capital, Beirut, at dawn Thursday.
The aggression resulted in a number of martyrs, injuries, and widespread destruction, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region. According to Lebanese sources, Israeli aircraft and naval vessels executed approximately 20 airstrikes on the Southern Suburb of Beirut during the night.
The raids targeted key strategic locations, including the Sayyed Hadi Highway, the Jamous Street intersection, a building next to Hadi Stadium, and the al-Arid Street building.
Various areas in Haret Hreik were targeted, and so were locations near the Martyr Mahmoud Q'aiq School and the Imam al-Mujtaba Complex in Saint Therese. Moreover, additional strikes were reported opposite the Jamous Street intersection, according to the National News Agency.
Additionally, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the Southern Suburb reported that "two Israeli airstrikes specifically targeted the Chiah area at dawn."
