The report indicated that after a month of ground maneuvers, the Israeli army is approaching the end of this intense operational phase, as envisioned by the leadership of the military and the Northern Command. As part of this transition, thousands of active-duty and reserve soldiers have been granted leave for recovery after their extensive deployment.
Additionally, the broadcaster noted that Israel is preparing to reposition its forces along the Lebanese border. This strategic adjustment comes amid ongoing ceasefire discussions, which are aimed at facilitating a potential U.S.-brokered political settlement with the Lebanese government.
Military sources claimed that the operation has met several key objectives, including the identification of Hezbollah infrastructure located near the border. The Israeli army has also reported the capture of Hezbollah members, who have provided valuable intelligence during the operation.
