Syrian- Turkish businessmen discussed on Thursday proposals to activate cooperation between the two countries concentrating on the necessity of establishing joint marketing company to promote the Syrian-Turkish commodities at the European market
They conferred enhancing the exchange of expertise in the filed of international quality and specifications as well as adopting required procedure to facilitate transit trade between Turkey and Gulf countries in addition to increasing cooperation in land, sea and railway transportation and tourist filed.
Chairman of the Syrian Chambers of Commerce Rateb al-Shallah discussed with Board member of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Said Kilege means of boosting economic ties and increasing trade volume between the two sides.
Dr. Shallah underlined the strength of relations connecting the two friendly countries in all domains particularly in economic and trade fields, pointing out to the free trade agreement between Syria and Turkey that put into force at the beginning of the year.
He indicated the importance of holding meetings between businessmen in the two countries to promote economy and trade
