The conglomerate of Al-Qaeda affiliates known as “Jaysh Al-Fateh” have regrouped and captured the strategic hills of Tal Khattab, Tal ‘Awar, and Tal Hamka; along with the towns of Frikka, Mushayrafah, Salat Al-Zuhour, and Zayzoun after the Syrian Arab Army’s 87th Brigade of the 11th Tank Division withdrew from this stretch of agricultural lands in the Idlib Governorate.
With the capture of these sites in the Al-Ghaab Plains, the Islamist groups that make up Jaysh Al-Fateh have now secured the remaining area that surrounds the imperative city of Jisr Al-Shughour; this was guaranteed after they took control of the Sawmill Barrier earlier this morning.
