BEIRUT: European and Lebanese officials filled the courtyard behind the European Union delegation’s new headquarters in Beirut’s Zoqaq al-Blat Wednesday, touting the new and larger building as a sign of the EU’s growing presence in Lebanon.
A choir sang the Lebanese and the European anthems as guests sipped on glasses of wine and juice under the EU member states’ flags.
