Efforts on ensuring geographical disengagement between opposition forces ready to observe ceasefire and terrorists are a necessary condition for destroying the hotbed of international terrorism in Syria, Russian Foreign Ministry’s official spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a briefing on Thursday.
"The end of the holy month of Radaman for Muslims and the start of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, unfortunately, did not lead to reducing violence in Syria," Zakharova noted.
