BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:30 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army resumed their field operations in Palmyra’s southeastern countryside, Tuesday, targeting the Bir Al-Badiya area near the T-3 Pumping Station.
Backed by heavy Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Arab Army’s 5th Corps stormed the Bir Al-Badiya area in order to catch the Islamic State (ISIL) forces off-guard.
ISIL was expecting the Syrian Arab Army to attack the Talilah area once again; however, the latter’s high command changed the battle contingency to go around this site.
