"And I have found both freedom and safety in my madness, the freedom of loneliness and the safety from being understood, for those who understand us enslave something in us. But let me not be too proud of my safety. Even a Thief in a jail is safe from another thief. "

Terrorist Groups Launch Surprise Attack In Northern Hama, Renter Kafr Nabudah- South Front

In the morning of May 10, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies launched a surprise attack on positions recently captured by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the northern and northwestern Hama countryside.
The terrorists managed to enter the town of Kafr Nabudah, which was captured by the SAA earlier this week, in the first hours of the attack. However, large parts of the town remained under the army’s control.
HTS and its allies also advanced in the northwestern Hama countryside and attacked the SAA’s positions north of the town of al-Shariaa.
The Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation (NFL), which is supporting HTS’ attack claimed that its fighters had destroyed several vehicles of the SAA, including a BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), with ATGMs in northern Hama. These claims are yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, sources close to the Tigers Forces, which are leading the ongoing operation of the SAA in northern Hama, said that the army is repelling the attack. According to the sources, HTS and its allies, especially the Ahrar al-Sham Movement, suffered from massive loses while storming Kafr Nabudah.
Local observers believe that the SAA, backed by the Russian Aerospace Forces, will fully repel HTS’ attack within a few hours.
