Rescue teams arrived on 3 November at the scene of a massacre in the southern Lebanese town of Khiam, where the bodies of several people were discovered.
At least 20 have been confirmed dead by international and Lebanese Red Cross workers in the Wata al-Khiam area in the lowermost part of Khiam. So far, the bodies of five people have been pulled out from under the rubble.
Contact with the individuals was lost on Monday evening, when Israeli forces advanced on the town, a local official told Lorient Le Jour on Sunday.
