In a new violation for the ceasefire in Syria, a car bomb exploded on Saturday
in front of a Syriac church in the Syria’s eastern city of Deir Ezzor.
The attack eroded a ceasefire which was brokered by UN envoy to Syria Lakhdar
Brahimi and took effect on Friday for Eid al-Adha.
While state news agency, SANA, said there were no casualties, the
London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that five people were
killed in the blast...
