Maronite Patriarch Bechara al-Rahi Sunday lashed out at the politicians' negligence towards their duties and responsibilities, accusing them of committing a grave sin that is harming the country.
During his weekly sermon, al-Rahi lambasted lawmakers for abandoning their duty by failing to elect a new president, obstructing the voting sessions and holding onto stubborn stances that hinder any agreement.
