DAMASCUS, SYRIA (3:40 P.M.) - For the first time in several months, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their Palestinian allies have entered the Yarmouk Refugee Camp of southern Damascus after being forced to withdraw earlier this year.
According to an Al-Masdar correspondent in Damascus, the Palestinian wing of the Syrian Arab Army led the assault at the northern sector of Yarmouk Camp, advancing along Lubia Street and the Shuhada axis.
The Syrian Armed Forces and Palestinian committees managed to capture most of the northern sector of Yarmouk Camp today after an intense battle with the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS).
