BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:50 P.M.) – A high ranking commander from Faylaq Al-Rahman was reportedly killed inside the East Ghouta town of Zamalka this morning after a short battle with Jaysh Al-Islam militants.
Abu Najib, the Faylaq Al-Rahman commander, was identified by East Ghouta activists as the dead leader of this Islamist group in rural Damascus.
Abu Najib was reportedly the office manager of Faylaq Al-Rahman before he was caught between the infighting in Zamalka.
The rebel infighting has recently claimed more than 100 dead over the last 72 hours, leaving Jaysh Al-Islam and Faylaq Al-Rahman at odds once again.
