Two leaders of the Syrian rebel group Saraya Ahl al-Sham were wounded Monday evening in a blast in the eastern border town of Arsal, media reports said.
Al-Jadeed television said the two leaders were “lightly injured” as other media reports said the explosive device was planted by the jihadist Islamic State group.
IS militants and rival jihadists from the Fateh al-Sham Front are entrenched in the town's outskirts and in other areas along the Syrian-Lebanese border.
The non-jihadist Saraya Ahl al-Sham group has presence in and around Arsal.
