"And I have found both freedom and safety in my madness, the freedom of loneliness and the safety from being understood, for those who understand us enslave something in us. But let me not be too proud of my safety. Even a Thief in a jail is safe from another thief. "

Syria: Islamic Front fighters seize bases belonging to FSA rebels- Digitaljournal.com

Syrian activists have announced that an Islamic alliance that came together last month in Syria has just seized some bases and warehouses used by the Free Syrian Army near the Syria-Turkey border.
According to The New York Times fighters from the Islamic Front, a broad umbrella group comprising of six insurgent groups fighting against the Assad regime, has taken over bases on Syria's northwestern border with Turkey.
Daily Star Lebanon also carried a report which quotes the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reporting that, “After combat that lasted all night, fighters from the Islamic Front captured [FSA] general staff positions near the Bab el-Hawa border crossing [between Turkey and Syria] and seized their arms depots.”
Five were killed throughout the course of this operation. Arms had been brought across the border from Turkey to the areas the Islamic Front has captured.
The U.S, which is steadily supplying arms to the more moderate FSA opposition rebels, has on several occasions in the past expressed fears that such Islamist Al-Qaeda affiliates will get their hands on such weapons and use them in the future against the United States and/or its allies.
