Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is holding a meeting with his Syrian counterpart Walid Muallem.
UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) – The talks started after the Middle East Quartet meeting that Lavrov also took part in.
The Middle East Quartet comprises the United States, the European Union and the United Nations. It was established in 2002 to mediate a peace process in the long-standing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
