Damascus, Syria (1:40 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard, backed by the Palestine Liberation Army (PLA) and National Defense Forces (NDF), renewed their offensive inside the East Ghouta region of rural Damascus on Friday, striking Jaysh Al-Islam’s (Army of Islam) positions near the Al-Rehan Farms.
According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Armed Forces have captured several farms in Al-Rehan, leaving only a small part of this rural area under the control of Jaysh Al-Islam and their allies.
Meanwhile, at the Tal Sawwan-Tal Kurdi axis, the Syrian Armed Forces are once again attacking Jaysh Al-Islam’s defenses at this strategic hilltop, destroying a number of armored vehicles that belonged to the Islamist rebels.
