Former Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt made two phone calls Tuesday — one to Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and another to Hajj Wafiq Safa, head of Hezbollah's Liaison and Coordination Unit — expressing full solidarity with the resistance, the people of southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and the southern suburbs of Beirut following the Israeli attack that affected the entire country.
He extended his condolences to the families of the martyrs and wished a swift recovery to the wounded.
Jumblatt also called MP Ali Ammar, a member of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, offering condolences for the martyrdom of Ammar's son in the attack.
Jumblatt emphasized the importance of national solidarity in the face of the unprecedented Israeli aggression against Lebanon’s security and sovereignty, urging unity at the highest levels to confront the Israeli war.
