On Saturday, the Israeli army launched several relentless airstrikes throughout the day on the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Bekaa, and southern villages, following the official announcement of the assassination of Hezbollah’s Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah.
In the afternoon, multiple airstrikes targeted the southern suburbs, with the last one considered an assassination attempt on a Hezbollah commander.
An airstrike targeted a building on the old Sidon Road in Mar Mikhael, resulting in injuries. It also targeted a passenger van on the Zahle highway, near the city’s industrial roundabout.
The Israeli army targeted a house in the town of Blat in the Marjayoun district. Another strike hit the town of Deir Serian.
Around 1:15 PM, an airstrike targeted the area between the towns of Harouf and Jibchit in Nabatieh. The Israeli army targeted also Majdal Zun in the western sector, the towns of Yaroun and Maroun al-Ras, Bint Jbeil near Nabi Square, the Tapline area in Kafrman, Nabatieh, as well as multiple villages in the Tyre district, including Mansouri, Hanieh, Shuhabiya, and Qadmus al-Abbasiyah.
