After around two months of war on Lebanon, the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Tel Aviv would approve an indirect ceasefire deal with Lebanon mediated by the United States and France.
In a press conference on Tuesday evening, Netanyau claimed that the Israeli approval of the ceasefire came in order to concentrate on the “Iranian threat”, reactivate the army, overcome the restrictions imposed on the arms supplies to ‘Israel’, and separating the Lebanese and Gaza fronts in order to isolate Hamas were behind the Zionist decision to accept the ceasefire.
In an attempt to justify the decision before the Israelis, Netanyahu said that the occupation army would attack whenever it detects violation of the deal, alleging that ‘Israel’ would prevent Hezbollah from rearming.
The Israeli Channel 13 conducted a poll which showed that 61% of the Zionists believe that ‘Israel’ did not win the war.
