"And I have found both freedom and safety in my madness, the freedom of loneliness and the safety from being understood, for those who understand us enslave something in us. But let me not be too proud of my safety. Even a Thief in a jail is safe from another thief. "

Spokesman for U.S.-led militias defects in coordination with Turkey- Zaman al-Wasl

Spokesman for the U.S.-led Syrian Democratic Forces has defected over a coordination with the Turkish intelligence, sources said on Wednesday,

No further details revealed about Colonel Talal Sillo who read most of the victory statements of the Kurdish-led alliance which uprooted ISIS from Raqqa, once de facto capital in eastern Syria.

Sillo arrived in Turkish-held city of Jarablus town early Wednesday, fleeing Manbij town, sources told Zaman al-Wasl.

The defections was coordinated by the Turkish intelligence and its forces stationed in the northeastern Aleppo countryside.

The SDF has appointed Redur Halil as new spokesperson.

Turkey on Wednesday condemned as "an extremely grave revelation" the potential escape of hundreds of extremists from the Syrian city of Raqqa, saying it underscored the perils of Washington's alliance with Kurdish fighters, AFP reported.
