TEHRAN, (SANA) – Grand Mufti of Syria, Dr. Ahmad Badr Eddin Hassoun, reviewed with Secretary General of Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly, Hassan Akhtari, means of bringing the Islamic countries and people together in a way that serves the interests and aspirations of the people in the region.
The two sides stressed the need for conveying the reality of events in Syria to the Islamic world and facing the falsification of facts by some instigative media outlets.
They noted that the clergymen and scientific figures have a pivotal role in enlightenment in light of the misleading media campaign which targets the Islamic and human identity of the Islamic societies.
