DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Fourteen people were martyred and scores of others were injured on Tuesday in a terrorist bombing that rocked the crowded area of al-Marjeh which is considered the commercial and historical center of the city of Damascus.
A source at Damascus Hospital told SANA that the bodies of 14 martyrs and 56 injured people, some critically, arrived at the Hospital, noting that women and children were among the bodies.
The reporter quoted another source at al-Muwasat Hospital as saying that 47 injured people, including women and children, were admitted to the Hospital to receive treatment.
The terrorist bombing caused damage to Damascus Commercial Tower , Fadlallah al-Basiri Mosque, Omar al-Khiyam Hotel and the Archeology Department of Damascus Countryside, according to SANA reporter.
