Shells fired from Syria landed on several areas in the northern border region of Wadi Khaled on Friday evening, the state-run National News Agency reported.
"Several shells hit the outskirts of the Buqaiaa town in Wadi Khaled near the old railway,” the NNA said.
LBCI television said four shells were fired from the Syrian side of the border and landed on Khat al-Petrol, Sheikh Mohammed Hill, and Mashta Hammoud regions in Wadi Khaled.
"No injuries were however recorded,” LBCI noted.
The same source added that gunshots from Syria also hit the northern border region.
Meanwhile in the Bekaa, the NNA reported that Syrian helicopters raided the Wadi Ajram region in the Arsal plains.
