The Syrian Arab Army’s 104th Airborne Brigade of the Republican Guard carried out numerous raids on the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS) positions at Central Park and the Agricultural Research Facility on Sakr Island (Haweeja Sakr) this week. These raids resulted in a number of militants killed and their weapons seized as the 104th Brigade continued their offensive to capture this strategic area in the vicinity of the provincial capital of Deir Ezzor.
