Damascus, SANA-Syrian heads of clans affirmed their support for a forthcoming consultative meeting on the crisis in Syria planned for January 26 in Moscow.
This came in a statement at the conclusion of a conference held in Damascus.
The heads of clans urged “all parties concerned to make this meeting a success and end the suffering of the Syrian people”, stressing the necessity that national principles remain intact.
“The Syrian clans and tribes will remain a staunch supporter of the Syrian army in the battle against takfiri terrorists,” they said, calling for putting pressure on the countries that support terrorism.
On a different note, the clan chiefs condemned Israeli aggressions against the Syrian lands, the latest of which was in Quneitra.
