BEIRUT: Military prosecutor Judge Saqr Saqr has charged detained suspects Bilal and Omar Mikati with belonging to ISIS, committing terrorist acts, and murdering Lebanese Army soldiers, a judicial source told The Daily Star.
The two cousins, both natives of the northern city of Tripoli, were arrested last week by the Army.
Omar Mikati, aka Abu Hureira, is believed to have been behind the beheading of Lebanese soldiers Ali al-Sayyed and Abbas Medlejwhile they were being held captive by ISIS militants on the outskirts of Arsal last summer.
