The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) has been officially kicked out of the eastern sector of Al-Hasakah City after the Syrian Arab Army’s 104th Airborne Brigade of the Republican Guard – in coordination with the Shaytat Tribesmen and the National Defense Forces (NDF) – captured the east district of the Al-Ghuweiran Quarter and the remaining territory under the terrorist group’s control in the Red Villas of Abu Bakr village.
For the first time in a month, the terrorist group does not occupy any territory inside the provincial capital’s eastern sector after their fierce firefights with both the Syrian Armed Forces and the predominately Kurdish “People’s Protection Units” (YPG) in the Red Villas and the Al-Ghuweiran Quarter of Al-Hasakah City.
