BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:50 P.M.) – With ‘Ayn Al-Fijah and Bassima under the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) control, the jihadist rebels have been forced to give-up the fight against the government forces after more than two weeks of intense fighting west of the capital.

According to local sources, 5 maintenance vehicles arrived to the Al-Fijah Springs today to help restore the water to the estimated 5 million people living in Damascus.

In addition to the maintenance vehicles, a number of buses arrived in Wadi Barada to transport the remaining jihadist rebels from this area in west Damascus to the Idlib Governorate in northern Syria.
