BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:45 P.M.) – The rebel forces in southern Damascus are on the verge of surrendering the final towns under their control after more than four years of war in this once densely populated area in the capital.
An officer from the Syrian Arab Army told Al-Masdar News today that the rebel leaders met with the government today in order to finalize a deal that would have the militants transferred to the Idlib Governorate in exchange for the surrender of four towns.
Among the four towns discussed between the rebel commanders and government officials are Aqraba, Beit Sahm, Babila, and Yalda.
