BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:45 A.M.) – The Lebanese Minister of Displaced Persons and leader of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Talal Arslan, slammed his political foe, Walid Joumblatt, in a statement on Saturday evening.
Arslan, a prominent Druze politician, began his statement on Saturday by offering his condolences to the families that lost loved ones as a result of the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) terrorist attack on Wednesday.
The Lebanese minister then accused the U.S. military of conspiring with Islamic State to carry out this deadly attack that killed more than 250 people in the Al-Sweida Governorate.
“Washington has not wanted to withdraw from any area in Syria, but their primary objective of protecting Israel has failed,” Arslan stated.
