New York, (SANA)- Official spokesman for UN Secretary General Martin Nesirky announced that a meeting will be held by UN Chief Ban Ki-Moon on Friday in Geneva to prepare for the international conference on Syria, Geneva 2.
"UN Chief will hold a preparatory meeting for reaching a political settlement to the crisis in Syria in Geneva on Friday," ITAR TASS quoted Nesirky as saying in a statement.
On the mission of international experts who returned to Syria to resume investigation on the use of chemical weapons, Nesirky said "the team ended preparations for work and held meetings with the Syrian authorities on pending issues."
