The family of one of the two suspected suicide bombers behind last week's deadly attack on the Iranian embassy in Beirut publicly renounced him on Sunday for carrying out the "criminal act."
Authorities on Saturday said that DNA samples taken from the families of Lebanese Mouin Abu Dahr and Palestinian Adnan Moussa al-Mohammed – the two suspected bombers – confirmed that they were behind the November 19 attack which killed at least 23 people and injured nearly 150.
"The family condemns in the strongest terms this criminal act... which serves only the Israeli enemy," family of the Palestinian suspect said in a statement carried by Lebanon's National News Agency.
