Israeli strikes continued heavily into the evening of Saturday, causing a drastic rise in human losses.
The Ministry of Public Health's Emergency Operations Center has reported 3,670 killed and 1,413 wounded since the start of the Israeli military operation against Hezbollah.
In Beirut's southern suburbs, intense Israeli raids targeted buildings in Hadath, Choueifate Amrousiyeh and Sainte Therese in the afternoon, following evacuation appeals issued by the Israeli army's Arabic-speaking spokesperson, Avichay Adraee. Three other raids targeted the area of Sainte Therese – Hadath in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
In Tyre, according to the latest Ministry of Health figures, seven people were killed and 26 were seriously injured in Israeli strikes on Ain Baal and Batouliyeh.
Five people were killed and several others were wounded in Roumine in the Nabatiyeh caza. The Israeli army attempted several ground incursions in Khiam and Chamaa. It also bombed several homes in Khiam. Three people were killed and two were wounded in a raid in Roum.
Israeli artillery fire pounded the villages of Harouf, Bint Jbeil, Chaatiye, Tayr Harfa, Kounine, Khiam and Bazouriye, where one house was completely destroyed.
In addition, the Saida-Nabatiyeh road was blocked due to an Israeli raid on Zefta.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that 33 people were killed and 18 were wounded in Israeli attacks in Baalbeck on Saturday: 20 dead in Shmestar, three in Brital, five in Foulai and five in Boudai.
For its part, Hezbollah announced that it targeted the settlements of Kiryat Shmona and Safad three times with rocket salvos.
It also announced that it targeted several gatherings of Israeli soldiers in Hanita, Khiam, Kfar Kila and Deir Mimas. Hezbollah also claimed to have destroyed a Merkava tank with a guided missile west of the village of Chamaa, injuring its crew. Hezbollah successfully repelled Israeli soldiers attempting to advance into Bayada, killing and wounding several soldiers.
Moreover, Hezbollah broadcast images of the targeting of the Hatsur air base, south of Tel Aviv, with winged missiles.
