The Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” (Qawat Al-Nimr) and their allies are on the move in the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside, capturing several villages that were once under the control of the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) inside the Al-Bab Plateau and the Deir Hafer Plains.
With the amount of territory the Tiger Forces and their allies have captured inside the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside in the last three months; it would require a substantial amount of military personnel to protect the roads and villages in order for the Syrian Arab Army to progress further along the ISIS frontier.
