BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:00 A.M.) – The Russian Ministry of Defense has accused the U.S. of harboring Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) terrorists in the Tanf region of southern Syria.
According to a statement from Russia’s Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, General Sergei Rudskoy, the Islamic State’s numbers inside this large U.S.-controlled pocket has been steadily growing over the last few weeks.
Rudskoy said that the Islamic State is preparing to launch new attacks against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) from this large pocket in southern Syria.
