Turkish TV’s editor-in-chief Mahmoud Alloush posted a series of tweets including the statements of Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil during an interview at the Turkish TV.
According to the tweets, Bassil stressed that there have not been any direct contacts with Prime Minister Saad Hariri since he announced his resignation from Riyadh, noting that France acted as mediator in order to get Hariri out of Saudi Arabia.
On Hezbollah arms, the minister pointed out that “this issue is a matter of internal affairs and must be resolved through Lebanese dialogue,” adding that these arms will not be used against parties outside Lebanon.
“Any war waged against Lebanon is a lost one, Europe and the region will not be immune to it and the biggest loser would be Israel,” he stated.
