No further details revealed about Colonel Talal Sillo who read most of the victory statements of the Kurdish-led alliance which uprooted ISIS from Raqqa, once de facto capital in eastern Syria.
Sillo arrived in Turkish-held city of Jarablus town early Wednesday, fleeing Manbij town, sources told Zaman al-Wasl.
The defections was coordinated by the Turkish intelligence and its forces stationed in the northeastern Aleppo countryside.
The SDF has appointed Redur Halil as new spokesperson.
