Daesh managed to gain control of twenty-three villages in eastern rural Hama followng fierce battles with HTS, resulting in massive casualties among both parties.
According to RFS correspondent, Daesh gained control of the towns of Qasr ibn Wardan, Abla, Jib al-Qana, Jab al-Safa, Tal Halawa, Tineh, Tilil al-Hamar, Madahi, ,Rassm al-Anz, Jub al-Othman, Jub al-Rumman, Masa’adeh, Tarfawi, Abu Kahf, Um Sahreej, al-Aziziyah, Dalala, Aqla, Baroudia, Rassm al-Barjees, Alloaa, Khayriyeh Kabira, and Lubyeh.
For its part, the regime forces managed to gain control of the towns of Al-Rajhan, Umm Miyal, and Shakousia in eastern rural Hama. The regime’s victory came after about a month of unsuccessful attempts on these axes while fighting Daesh, which in turn, is trying to expand its areas of influence, especially after suffering losses in Raqqa and Deirezzor.
The city of Murek in particular, has been shelled by various types of weapons and raids, as well as hundreds of explosive barrels, causing massive destruction to its infrastructure, in addition to being shelled by missiles fired by the regime forces stationed at the Hama military airbase.
