On January 10, pro-government forces, led by the Tiger Forces, liberated the villages of Rasm Niyas, Aziziyah, Rifiyah, Bayaah Saghirah, Bayaah Khabirah, Buwaydir, Mabous, Qawlat Buwaydir, Rasm Hamidah, Rasm Jahsh, Uqwayjat Qana, Burk, Uqlat al-Jahman, Um Tamakh and Rasm Khushuf from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and its allies in southern Idlib. Separately, the Syrian Arab Army retook control over the village of Um Miyal in northeastern Hama.
According to the Hezbollah media wing in Syria, the al Qaeda-linked Levant Liberation Committee is one of the “opposition” groups supporting Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in the Abu al-Duhur area.
Separately, reports are circulating tha the army also advanced in southern Aleppo and established control over the hills of Abo Ruwayl and Maqbara.
