BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:55 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has resumed their offensive in the southern countryside of Idlib, today, striking the jihadist rebel defenses near the recently captured town of Sinjar.
Led by their elite Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army struck Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions this morning at the farms located north of Sinjar in a bid to secure the town.
No gains have been reported thus far.
While the Syrian Army attempts to expand their presence on the ground, the Russian Aerospace Forces have been imposing their will on the jihadist rebels with their relentless airstrikes along the Idlib-Hama axis.
