HOMS, (SANA)- The competent authorities in Homs province on Thursday evening seized a car loaded with weapons in Tal Ashour town near Homs.
An informed source in the province told SANA correspondent that the driver of the car, when asked to stop the car to be searched at a law enforcement forces checkpoint, turned onto a dirt road in an attempt to run away and then got off the car and fled away.
The source added that the car was found to carry large quantities of various types of weapons including 2 Cobra missiles, 8 RPGs and 5 rockets, a Doshka machinegun, 2 military rifles, 2 rocket valves and large amounts of rifle ammunition.
In another context, the citizen Ali Hassan Alloush from Homs was transported to the National Hospital in the province on Thursday after he was shot by members of an armed terrorist group in al-Baiyadeh neighborhood.
A medical source at the Hospital told SANA correspondent that Alloush's body was mutilated after his death.
