Syria has rejected a plan by the Arab League for a new government of national
unity to end the months of violence.
The proposal, which would require President Assad to engage in proper
dialogue with the opposition, has been dismissed by the regime as 'blatant
interference'.
There were more deaths today in the city of Homs which has seen some of
fiercest fighting.
