A Birmingham man has been arrested at Gatwick airport on suspicion of attending a terrorist training camp in Syria.
The 21-year-old from the Sheldon area of the city had returned to the UK on a flight from Istanbul.
West Midlands Police said in a statement that the arrest was not connected with two men who were held at Heathrow airport on Monday on suspicion of Syria-linked terror offences.
The pair, Yusuf Sawar and Mohammed Ahmed, both 21, from Handsworth, Birmingham, have been charged with planning and travelling to Syria for terrorism.
