At least three people were wounded when Syrian shells landed in Lebanon's northern Akkar district, state news reported Friday.
The National News Agency said four shells struck the border village of Machta Hammoud.
Hundreds of stray shells from the war in Syria have struck villages along Lebanon's northernmost border, sometimes injuring residents and destroying property.
