TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army continued its advances in different parts of Deir Ezzur in the Eastern parts of the country, and regained full control of a military airport in there.
The foreign-backed militants were pushed back from the surrounding areas of Deir Ezzur military airport as the army advanced.
The Syrian army clashed fiercely with ISIL terrorists in the vicinity of Deir Ezzur military airport, killing or injuring scores of them.
The Syrian army also killed over 60 ISIL terrorists in al-Jafra, Mohasan and in other areas in Deir Ezzur.
Also in the past 24 hours, the Syrian troops continued their military operations against the Takfiri group in the central province of Homs, and managed to kill a great number of them in the areas of Rahoum, Onk al-Hawa, Mas’ada, Salam Gharbi and Abu al-Alaya.
The Syrian army ambushed and killed all the elements of a terrorist group which was trying to infiltrate from al-Waer neighborhood to that of al-Dar al-Kabira in Homs.
