DAMASCUS, SYRIA (01:00 PM) – The situation for Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the Al-Qaeda affilated terrorist group formerly known as the Al-Nusra Front, seems more dire than ever, now that the Syrian Arab Army has tightened the noose around the central town of Magher al-Meir even more after a successful offensive on Saturday.
The Syrian army overran the HTS positions completely on the hill of Tall Zaiyat, from which they launched successful attacks that captured Al-Najjar and the hill range of Zaher Aswad as well in the course of the day.
