Three Iranian military vehicles have appeared for the second time at Tiyas (T-4) airbase in the eastern countryside of Homs province after disappearance for 15 days.
A well-informed source said that these vehicles disappeared for 15 days before appearing and being parked in the backyard of the command of the 70th Brigade 70 at Tiyas airbase.
None of the personnel in the base were allowed to approach or engage with the vehicle crew members. Security encircled the brigade command’s backyard to prevent anyone from entering to engage with the crew members. The crew members remained for four days and then left the base for another mission.
The vehicles looked strange and had never been seen before at the T-4 airbase, according to the source.
Three different antennas were seen on the back of the vehicles. Each vehicle consists of two crew members. Prefabricated concrete structures were set up in the square for the vehicle crew members to sleep in.
Iranian radio vehicles are tasked with leading a new type of Iranian drone that are being used in Syria now. The source suggested this as a possibility as the Iranian militias are currently spread around the desert of Palmyra and in the direction of Deir Ezzor, Albu Kamal and Iraq.
The crew members remaining only four days was aimed at analyzing the reconnaissance data collected by these vehicles after receiving the information from reconnaissance aircrafts.
