Syrian troops have reportedly cut off the main road between the militant-held towns of Beit Jinn and Mughr al-Mir in the so-called Beit Jinn pocket in the southern part of the country.
On December 23, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) established a full control over the Hanakir area and cut off the road. Now, militants in Mughr al-Mir are de-facto isolated from their counterparts in the rest of the pocket.
